Look for centrifugal fans in HVAC systems. In older homes, they were sometimes built into the ductwork but this isn't common practice anymore. Newer homes often have these units installed directly outside the return vents. If you find them, check your utility bill to make sure they aren't being used incorrectly. They require voltage from a power supply and won't operate properly if not connected.

Radial Blade type of Fans:

        The radial blade type of fan has effectiveness, speed and limit qualities that are halfway between the forward-bended and in reverse bended sharp edge fans. It is rarely utilized in cooling applications since it misses the mark on ideal trademark.

Axial Flow type of Fans:

The purpose of axial flow fans is to move air from a low pressure area to a high-pressure area. In our case this means moving hot, stale air out of your home or office, and replacing it with fresh, cooler air. Axial fans are used in ventilation systems, heating/cooling applications, and other applications that require forced airflow.

An axial fan works based on the principle of centrifugal force, where air is moved outward in a circular pattern, creating a continuous stream of air.

            The tube-axial type of fan is a typical axial flow type of fan in a rounded lodging yet without inlet guide vanes. The cutting edge shape might be level or bended, of single or twofold thickness. The axial flow type of fan has become especially related with the vane-axial type which has guide vanes previously or after the fan wheel.
